Webcam Issues: Your Webcam Video is Not Showing

If your webcam doesn't load in the virtual classroom here are the most common reasons:

1. You didn't give permission in the browser when asked or your specific browser is not displaying your webcam
2. Another application is holding your webcam "hostage" (like Zoom, Skype, etc.) and not letting you access it

First, try using Chrome you aren't already (or, Firefox if you must)! This will fix it in most cases.

Second, restart your computer and join again with Chrome. Virtually fail-proof! 

Rare but Can Happen:

1. There is an actual hardware issue and you need to unplug and re-plug your webcam in and restart your computer
